All lecturers and alumni of the Faculty of Forestry UGM Undergraduate Programme are notified that the Master of Forestry Science Study Programme provides opportunities for alumni of the Faculty of Forestry UGM Undergraduate Programme to continue their studies at the Master of Forestry Science Study Programme with a scholarship scheme. The procedure for registering for the batch-3 Master's scholarship can be seen in the link below:
This year, specifically on Thursday, January 14 2021, the leadership baton at the Faculty of Forestry UGM moved from Mrs. Dr. Lies Rahayu Wijayanti Faida, M.P., Head of the Master of Forestry Science Program Universitas Gadjah Mada for the 2016-2021 period, to Mr. Tomy Listyanto, S.Hut., M.Env.Sc., Ph.D. as the new head for the 2021-2026 period. This was followed by the handover of the secretary position of the Master of Forestry Science Program from Mr. Tomy Listyanto, S.Hut., M.Env.Sc., Ph.D. to Mr. Widiyatno, S.Hut., M.Sc., Ph.D. Both of the inaugurations were also accompanied by the handover of head positions for the departments within the Faculty.

A total of 28 majors in UGM gained Excellent Accreditation from the National Accreditation Body for Higher Education (BAN-PT). This accomplishment makes UGM a university in Indonesia that obtained an Excellent Accreditation predicate up until now.
“There are 28 study programs that attained Excellent Accreditation from BAN-PT, and by far, UGM is the only university that managed to secure such accreditation achievement with the highest amount of programs,” said the Head of Quality Assurance Office, Prof. Indra Wijaya Kusuma (Thursday, 11/6).
