New Student Admission for the Doctoral and Master in Forestry Science Study Programmes for the Odd Semester Period academic year 2023/2024.
On Friday, 1 September 2023, the New Student Admission activity for the Academic Year 2023/2024 Gasal Semester Period was held by the Doctoral and Master in Forestry Science Study Programs located in Post Room 1 Building D Faculty of Forestry, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
The event, which was hosted by Mrs Sri Wahyuni, started at 09.00-15.00 WIB. At this event, the Dean and Vice Dean and their staff were also invited, the Head and Secretary of the S2 and S3 Study Programmes, the Head of the Engineer Study Programmes and the Head of Department of each interest to welcome new students. As the opening of the event all participants sang the national anthem Indonesia Raya followed by the Gadjah Mada Hymn, followed by a report on new student admissions delivered by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Dwiko Budi Permadi and remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Dr. Sigit Sunarta. The next event was a joint prayer led by Dr Muhammad Navis Rofii which took place solemnly. An introduction to UGM was delivered by Dr. Senawi and continued by the Head of the Master in Forestry Science Program, Dr. Tomy Listyanto who introduced the study programme to new students. The last speaker was from the management of HMMIK (Master of Forestry Science Student Association) which was warmly and enthusiastically welcomed by the students.
