On Friday, 21 July 2023, a public lecture organised by the Master of Forestry Science Study Program took place in the postgraduate conference room on the 3rd floor of the Faculty of Forestry UGM. This public lecture brought Professor Dr Futoshi Ishiguri as a guest speaker who is a lecturer from the Department of Forest Science, Utsunomiya University and Ir. Fanny Hidayati, S.Hut., M.Sc., Ph.D. as moderator.
The material presented at this public lecture was about Tree Breeding for Wood Quality. The activity was greeted enthusiastically by students from S1, S2 and S3 as well as lecturers who attended and followed the event until it was over. The public lecture which lasted for approximately 2 hours was closed by giving mementos and taking pictures together.
